Sarah Lavrisa joined Apna Law LLP in 2025. She practices Family Law, Estate Litigation, Personal Injury, and civil litigation. She has represented clients before the Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal, Employment Standards Branch, Human Rights Tribunal, BC Provincial Court, and BC Supreme Court.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Sarah has an enduring love of Canadian politics. She graduated with her J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2015, and with her B.A. with a specialization in Theatre from the University of Ottawa in 2011. She attended UBC for a visiting semester in 2013, and was a summer clinician for the Law Students Legal Advice Program in 2014.

Other Interests

Outside work, Sarah enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and cycling. She is a member of the Vancouver performing arts community, and in particular has performed in the Lawyer Show.
