Amanda maintains a busy litigation practice focusing extensively on family and estate litigation. She has represented clients in both areas at every level of court in British Columbia as well as in mediation and collaborative negotiations.
Amanda’s legal expertise in family law focuses on family property and debt division, including complex corporate asset division, guideline income calculation and child support issues, relocation and jurisdictional issues as well as prenuptial and cohabitation agreements. On estate matters, Amanda has acted for beneficiaries, executors, administrators and trustees helping them address wills variation, wills validity, estate administration issues as well as construction and interpretation of wills.
She joined Apna Law LLP in 2022 after practicing as a partner at a boutique firm specializing in complex family, estate and injury claims.
While a zealous courtroom advocate if necessary, Amanda assists many clients in reaching a negotiated or mediated settlements.

Amanda also currently serves as the financial adviser to Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and spends her free time on the mountain in fresh powder, on the softball diamond and in tropical destinations when time permits.
Amanda is active in the legal community, volunteering her time with Access Pro Bono’s Court of Appeal Roster Program offering pro bono services for self represented clients at the Court of Appeal and working with the Rise community legal centre providing summary advice to economically disadvantaged clients.
