Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ingrid obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws, a one-year program prerequisite for entry into the Hong Kong legal profession, from the City University of Hong Kong in 2017 and 2018 respectively. For the latter program, Ingrid was placed on the Dean’s List with Merit in recognition of her overall academic performance during the year. After two years of traineeship, Ingrid was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2020 and practiced in a commercial litigation boutique firm before relocating to Vancouver in 2023. She joined Apna Law LLP in 2024.

Ingrid is gaining exposure to various areas of practice including family and estate litigation, personal injury, and civil litigation. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Ingrid is capable of assisting clients with diverse language needs and cultural backgrounds.

Other Interests

Outside of law, Ingrid volunteers with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (BC) and Amici Curiae Friends of Court, as well as local organizations supporting the Hong Kong diaspora in Vancouver.

In her spare time, Ingrid enjoys writing and producing music, photography, exercising at the gym, and learning new languages.
