Shaday was born and raised in Mexico City. She obtained her MBA specialized in Strategy from EGADE Business School at Tecnologico de Monterrey, among the most prestigious business schools in Latin America. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from La Salle University with honours. Prior to working at Apna Law LLP, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Financial Senior Auditor working with many multinational companies like L’Oreal, Ondeo Degremont, Elektra Group, Cemex, and others. Her last role in Mexico was as a CFO for the Japanese Association, Sukyo Mahikari, overseeing the Mexico, Central America and Caribbean regions before moving to Canada to study a Post Degree Program in Project Management at Douglas College. With her brother she is the founder and partner of Aranda Consulting AC in Mexico and she is a member of Association of MBA’s and also from EXATEC EGADE Business School Association.  

Shaday currently works in the accounting department at Apna Law LLP while she works toward qualifying as a CPA in Canada. She has been responsible for all things financial at the firm and works toward ensuring the firm operates as efficiently and effectively as possible. 

Other Interests

In her spare time, Shaday enjoys spending time with her family, and friends as well as traveling, working out, dancing, and cooking her favorite dish that is tacos. She also speaks multiple languages including Spanish, Portuguese, English and some Japanese.
