Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, Karan moved to BC to attend law school, where he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University in 2022. During his time at law school, Karan was a teaching assistant to first-year law students and was awarded the Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP Prize in Torts Law for the highest academic achievement amongst his class.

Karan previously attended Carleton University in Ottawa, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a minor in History and Indigenous Studies. Karan was also a Reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces and a member of the 4th Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment for 4 years. 

Karan joined Apna Law in 2023 as an associate.

He primarily practices in the areas of estate litigation, personal injury, and civil litigation. Karan has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. 

In his spare time, Karan enjoys hiking, camping, portaging, and anything outdoors. He also enjoys travelling, reading, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends.
