  • K.D. v. K.J. et al - ICBC offered the client $25,000 to settle his claim. Jasroop, in what was the first trial of his career, helped Mr. D obtain a judgment of $140,954.13.

  • D.W. v. D.T. et al - the client was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident that left him with a permanent brain injury. Jasroop assisted the lead lawyer at his previous firm with this claim, which eventually resolved at mediation for over one million dollars.

  • L.O. et al. v. M.B. et al. - the client was accused of defaming the plaintiff online in a business review posting, as well as in a story through a major news provider. James successfully acted as co-counsel for the defendant in getting the claim dismissed after a 3 week trial.

  • A.A. v Canada - James successfully represented a refugee claimant who was seeking asylum in Canada after being hunted and threatened by criminal gangs in his home country.

  • T.K. v L. I. et al - James represented a company in a shareholder dispute in which one shareholder acted in an oppressive manner. The case was effectively and effectively resolved with the offending shareholder agreeing to transfer all shares to our client.

  • C.G. v. M.M. et al - Ms. G suffered soft tissue injuries as a result of this accident. Ms. G had the right of way as a vehicle pulled from a stop sign. The defendants denied that they were liable for the accident and put the blame on Ms. G. After Ms. G retained Jasroop, the defendants accepted responsibility by settling Ms. G's claim for $69,000.

  • H.B. v. COV et al - Ms. B suffered soft tissue injuries and a fractured wrist as a result of a trip and fall on a construction site. The defendant initially offered to settle the case for $10,000. James helped Ms. B obtain in excess of $105,000 as a final settlement.

  • N.B. - Jasroop and James represented a client injured in 2 motor vehicle accidents. The client sustained soft tissue injuries and had ongoing headaches. Jasroop and James successfully obtained a settlement of $210,000 for her injuries and losses.

  • P.H v A. E. - Jasroop represented a client who was injured as a pedestrian in a motor vehicle collision. Both Jasroop and James conducted the trial, securing a judgement in excess of $240,000. Jasroop was further successful in obtaining an order for costs payable to the client.
